National Agriculture Alliance is farmer based autonomous, non-governmental development organization (NGO) established in 2012. It is registered (Regd. No. 1108/69- 70) with in Kathmandu District. It is an NGO run collectively by the Nepali nationals with diverse background as well as professional agricultural expertise from management to community development.

Mission

Our mission is to simplify and amplify the work of farmer by providing scientifically validated production technologies to increase farmers productivity. National Agriculture Alliance Nepal (NAAN) aims to promote safe food production and practices.

Objectives

The overall objective of NAAN is to reduce poverty, promote safe food production, enhance food security, and empower smallholder farmers, deprived and disadvantaged communities of Nepal. The specific objectives are:

• To promote commercial high-value agriculture, livestock and agro-processing activities based on local specific comparative and competitive advantage production,
• To introduce production technologies healthy and safe food production,
• To design and deliver specialized extension/advisory services to support decision- making process of the farmers, and
• To provide capacity building, training and tools and technology to local farmer community groups.
